Can Signature build my cabinets?
Signature is a design firm that uses cabinetry from other manufacturers to create custom designs. We cannot build your cabinetry, as we are not a manufacturer; however, we can design, specify, and order custom cabinets with a range of finishes, colors, and configurations to fit your needs.
Can I mix cabinet lines?
Yes, we often will use two different lines of cabinetry in one project to reduce the cost of the overall cabinet package. We are able to find similar products among all of our manufacturers to make sure your design is seamless and keeps your budget in mind. For example, if you would like a custom piece of cabinetry, that design will be ordered through one of our two higher priced manufacturers, whereas your typical wall or base cabinets could be ordered through any of our other lines at a lower cost.
Is there a design fee or contract?
Yes, we have a design fee based on your project and design time, which we will discuss with you at the first free consultation in our showroom. You will then sign a contract with us before we place an order for your cabinetry.
If you are an interior designer needing a cabinet project quoted, and already have the cabinet design drawn, the design fee is waived based on size of project and amount of additional work needed.
Can my designer order and specify tile, countertops, lighting, etc.?
Our designers are fully equipped with the knowledge and resources to be able to work on your project from the ground-up. We can quote, order, and manage your materials. Our showroom has a plethora of countertop and tile samples, as well as cabinet and door hardware. If you would like an item that you don’t see in the showroom, we can order samples for you so you can be sure of your selections.
Are contractors and installers part of the Signature team?
Yes! We can recommend an installer or provide one for your project. You can find your own contractor, or even be the contractor! Without a carpenter, installer, contractor, or builder, we wouldn’t be able to complete your project; we are happy to work with other professionals to make sure your project is exactly how you envision it.
Can I order cabinetry from Signature based on existing plans from my builder?
Yes! We are happy to look at any existing plans and work off the design that you have already chosen. If you have architectural drawings from a builder, we can put our cabinetry into those plans and create a design that works for your layout.
